Luang Por Waen Sujinno Model

I visited Khlong Latmayom floating market in Bangkok recently, and found a stall selling statues of famous long gone monks. Just as there are popular monks in Thailand today, some funny monks, some wise monks, so there have been many in the past. My favorite of the deceased monks is Luang Por Waen, and they have a very lifelike statue of him.

He's practically looking through you, that's such a lifelike statue with amazing details.

They have a wide selection of the popular monks is various sizes. You buy your favorite monk for your shelf, to look over your home and keep it safe.

You can find this stall at Khlong Latmayom floating market on Saturdays and Sundays. At the map below, where the green arrow is.
